"Draw out" organizational and team performance to accelerate results

Reflecting on IBM’s CEO Study: Customer Intimacy

The 2010 IBM Global CEO Study, entitled "Capitalizing on Complexity" provides some remarkable insights into the minds of 1500 CEOs from around the world.

Today's topic: Customer Intimacy

Excerpt from the Study:

"The most successful organizations co-create products and services with customers, and integrate customers into core processes.  They are adopting new channels to engage and stay in tune with customers. By drawing more insight from the available data, successful CEOs make customer intimacy their number-one priority.

"Customer intimacy is foremost on CEOs’ minds. Eighty-eight percent of all CEOs, and an astounding 95 percent of Standouts, picked getting closer to the customer as the most important dimension to realize their strategy in the next five years."

What are you doing to engage your customers (and your suppliers, for that matter) with co-creating products, solving problems and improving processes?

Of course, DrawSuccess is an interesting method to get connected – deeply connected – to your customers and suppliers.  In fact one of the questions in the DrawSuccess Game is "List ways your suppliers can help you build your business."   Not only does the DrawSuccess Game and Program help co-develop ideas and solutions with customers, it also helps create a powerful bond through the insights learned and shared between participants.  Not to mention the fun and laughter!
